- Festive and ceremonial outfits worn by men in the subcontinent can be very elaborate. The buttons we present here at Diamantiques are an excellent example of this. They were intended to fit into the buttonholes of a man’s waistcoat. The pieces that make up a man’s suit are the sherwani – a long tailored jacket, the kurta – worn over the sherwani, a churidar, dhoti or shalwar as the pants. The garments are composed of rich fabrics like brocades, silks and jaquards with rich embroidery and trimmings.
Each of the jewels sold on Diamantiques.com is selected by Anne Pellerin, Expert FNEPSA CEDEA graduate auctioneer.
All the jewels have been the subject of an expertise in our offices in Paris.
They are guaranteed and are accompanied by a certificate of authenticity as well as a branded box.
