Vintage Queen Tank Diamond Ring

Tank ring in 950 platinum, the top formed by concentric circles enclosing a modern round brilliant-cut diamond of approximately 0.73 ct on a pavement of 8/8-cut diamonds totaling approx. 0.70 ct. The bezel forms a stylized diamond bow-tie motif.

• A rare piece of documentation in the format of a small catalog accompanies this ring – an excellent witness to the flourishing independent businesses in post-war Paris. In fact, a booklet from La Reine Blanche gift store in the Gobelins district tells us that the store had been present at the same address, with a 40-meter frontage, since the very beginning of the 20th century, offering goldsmiths, porcelain, jewelry and even clock repair departments. A few snapshots give us an idea of the shop windows, the workshop, and the models sold or available to order during the first half of the 20th century.
